SEP 16 - SEP 22 SEMANA 22 EN EL CAMPO MISIONAL CONCEPCION, CHILE

¡Hola, mamá, papá, y pan!

El Dieciocho was awesome!! The festivities lasted all week long, and I've sent a LOT of pictures to show you all that we did! I ate a MONTÓN (a ton), including pajaritos, choripan, mote con huesillo (a traditional drink here that we have had a whole lot in the past week), alfajores...mucho! We saw how Chilenos celebrate their fiestas patrias, which too included the traditional "cueca."

It was a harder week for missionary work, but we still managed to teach a few lessons and to contact people every day!

Ok, I will leave you with that for now. I got to get going, after sending so many pictures!

I love you, my family, and hope you have a great week ahead. :) Mom and dad, continue enjoying your trip and send saludos to everyone in the family up there, and Pan, have a great time up in the northeast this week on your vacation, too!

Muchísimo amor,
su Elder Trent Sellers

ONE IN A MINION! Got a package from Cris this past week. :)

We did service for an elderly lady in our ward who has Alzheimer's! Elder Requena and I are teaching her caregiver, a 21 year old named Pamela, as well as her daughter Ursula and HER daughter Carolina.

We bought volantines, kites, to fly for the Dieciocho! It's a popular tradition in Chile. As of yet, we still haven't flown them! We're going to fly them on a nicer day.

Another ward in the stake had a circus!

Instead of separate ward activities this year, the stake chose to do a stake-wide activity in the stake center in Gleisner. A few members of our ward performed a baile, or dance!
